As we know, cats are very independent creatures!  More often than not, cats are quite happy being visited once a day.  I will come in and: 

• Feed/water
• Clean litter trays
• Brush long-haired cats
• Administer any medication/treatments needed
• General house security (Open/close curtains, move post, etc.)

Alternatively, your cats could stay at my home while you're away.  They wouldn't be let outside, so there would be no risk of them getting lost. 

If you're worried about your cat/s being lonely, or if they need a lot of care, or you need them out of your way for a while, then this could be the perfect answer!
